Jackals are cunning and resourceful omnivores, their diet consists of fruits,carrion,rodents and they can even pull down a small antelope as a pair or pack.
Jackals will have one mate for life and are very adaptable, for that reason their conservation status are of least concern.
Jackals are common troughout the Sanctuary.
